Lady Gaga is so good at folding things
This One Good Thing is a weekly column in which we tell you about one of the few beautiful things that happened this week.
Lady Gaga is obviously a woman of many talents. She is a singer, a performer, a songwriter, an actress, in the true sense of the word, a star of the Good News.
Also, she is very good at folding things.
I received Gaga's incredible folding power during the A Star Is Born press conference at the Toronto International Film Festival this past weekend. Before asking a question, a reporter handed Gaga a t-shirt from her branch, The Queer Network. Gaga accepted the offer gracefully, because she is a movie star. Then before continuing to speak into the microphone (gracefully too), she folded the shirt with such precision and skill that I gasped. Panting!
Look closely at how he puts the sleeves underneath; the quick fold she doesn't even look at the shirt as she folds it, and yet the shirt is perfect. Every J.Crew store in the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) would be proud to display this shirt on their precariously arranged shelf displays.
I saw the video of Lady Gaga folding the shirt many times, many times in fact I started looking for more videos of Lady Gaga folding something. Fortunately, she said, this material is available. It turns out that Lady Gaga folded a Pride flag at one of her stop on her Joanne World Tour with the same skill. (In the background, you hear someone yell, "Folding queen," which is true.)
Make sure you have a good meal before you look at it, because the freshness of those corners almost left me. Anyway, if anyone sees Lady Gaga folding more stuff, let me know. Yes, it's the only good thing I've seen on the internet this particular week, but our journey doesn't have to stop here!
