Lady Gaga's Controversial Religious Beliefs: Is She Catholic?

The always controversial Lady Gaga has won the Oscar for best original song - 'Shallow' - for the film A star is born. The American singer and actress has always created controversy, also when it comes to religion. She has never made her position entirely clear, but on different occasions she has made reference to Christianity.
Surprisingly, the singer has shared Christian messages on her social networks several times. Although those messages contrast with other controversial performances that have nothing to do with Christianity - she has sometimes been accused of the opposite. Her controversial staging and some lyrics in her songs can lead to questioning her beliefs.
Even so, on some occasions she has made references in which it could be deduced that, at least, she follows closely the Christian faith. The artist has declared herself a Christian on many occasions but despite this, given her biblical references in songs like 'Judas' or 'Alejandro', with bizarre and very 'Gaga' -style video clips - in which it is difficult to know what refers to the message-, there are those who question their faith.
Lady Gaga grew up in a Christian family and during her early formative years she attended a Catholic school. Despite this, also due to her marked eccentric and controversial style in everything she does about her, it is unknown what her vision of religion is.
