Miley Cyrus is an American singer and actress. She became known thanks to 'Hannah Montana', a Disney Channel series in which she played the protagonist, also called Miley, who tried to hide that she was actually a famous pop star.
After finishing the series, Miley went through a stage in which she tried to break with all the stereotypes that had led her to star in her. She wanted to get out of the line of 'good girl' and commercial pop that Disney was marking, which led her to dress and behave in a transgressive way for a couple of years and star in several scandals.
However, it was only one stage in her career, the result of frustration with Disney, which she knew how to redirect to a new, much more sincere version of her, which would culminate in her latest album 'Younger Now'.
Apart from her career as an actress and singer, Miley is a recognized activist for the rights of the LGBT community and heads a non-profit foundation, Happy Hippy.
She has been dating actor Liam Hemsworth for years, with whom she left him for a season but they decided to give themselves a new opportunity. Currently, they form one of the most stable couples on the scene.
