To do this, he must hold his breath for several minutes, a task that Cruise did not hesitate to turn before filming the scene in question, with the help of professional trainers and a program designed for military purposes. "He had to show everyone that he was not at risk," says the actor. "Not only was it safer that way, but it was better for him to learn to hold his breath because that way he could be relaxed.
