Natalie Portman confesses: "Darren Aronofsky wanted at all costs to turn me against Mila Kunis"
The director wanted to make the hatred between the two actresses on the set of The Black Swan as real as possible
After announcing to the world that her relationship with Marvel (at least for the moment) has come to an end, Natalie Portman gave an interview for Vogue Magazine where she reveals some background about her career.
In particular, she talks about the set of The Black Swan, where she played the problematic classical dancer Nina Sayers, a role that earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress.
Alongside her, on the set of Darren Aranofsky, another beautiful actress: Mila Kunis. In the film the two are rivals, but in life, on the other hand, they are very close friends. This was a problem for the director: their clashes didn't seem real enough and so he started to stir up discord between the two.
Here is what the actress said: "she kept repeating to me," Oh, Mila is doing a really good job. She is much better than you ”. Darren did it just to make us jealous of each other. I think he wanted to create a real rivalry between us ». And probably in the end he must have succeeded in creating a competition, considering that the hatred (and attraction) between the two seemed to us quite real ...
