The actress and the directors of "Something is happening with Mary" have told, for the 20th anniversary of the film, that they were on the verge of eliminating one of its most mythical scenes
It seems like an eternity has passed, but it was not so long ago that Cameron Diaz was a young actress making a career from comedy to comedy. The Farellys asked the actress if she had any problems with that part of the film and, although at first she declared that none, Cameron Díaz ended up showing his indecision, since he did not know if shooting that fragment would harm his career .
"At the beginning she had some questions since you never know how something is going to go before it is done," Cameron Díaz told 'Variety'. "I trusted Bobby and Petter [Farelly] because they are obviously so funny, and when we looked at the visual side of the gag, I realized why they were right."
