Charlize Theron revealed that colleague Mark Whalberg threw up after filming a car scene on the set of The Italian Job.
"I vividly remember when Mark Wahlberg, in the middle of our training session, pulled up the car and threw up from nausea from running the 360s."
Already at the time, therefore, Charlie Theron proved to be highly talented for action scenes, but during the interview she recalled how humiliating it was for her to be told that she needed more days of training:
"It was so insulting. But it was also the thing that made me want to move on. And I was like 'okay, you guys want to play this game? Come on'. And I decided to drive better than them."
The Oscar-winning actress then underlined how happy she is that action cinema has opened its doors more and more to women in recent years, a genre in which she is showing great skill: "The good news now is that we have changed the female gender in cinema. The public loves these films "
