Despite being authorized pages, the material was NOT enough to give absolute veracity to the alleged plastic surgeries of the actor, but the posts included quotes from close sources referring to the matter and detailing exactly the type of interventions that had been carried out.
Speculating is legitimate as long as the assumption is made as such. Taking it for granted, on the other hand, is something very different.
Well, the news began by ensuring that the emotional consequences of the divorce between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had ended up aging the actor's face. Stress and tension were mentioned as the culprits and the first images were attached showing how Pitt looked before his love break with Jolie.

Then, following these two images, the media in question copied statements made by a "source close" to Brad Pitt that added credibility to the news.
