Why do some people hate Tom Cruise?
Some of the reasons Tom Cruise disagrees could include:
1.Scientology: Although no one wants to be perceived as intolerant of religion or bigoted, Scientology unfortunately evokes these unpleasant states of being in many people. Mr. Cruise's unconditional support for this religion and his principles does not "sit well" with many and, as a result, they do not like it.
2.His dishonesty about his personal life: It can be reasonably argued that Tom Cruise is a very close gay or bisexual man. While his personal life is nobody's business but his, his constant denial of what is probably true becomes exhausting and exhausting. many are insulted that he would insist on misleading them (and engaging in frivolous litigation) to hide something that is not a big deal.

For those who disagree, I would suggest that you watch (or rewatch) Taps, Rain Man, and Magnolia and then re-examine the subject. When he decides to do it, Tom Cruise can and has so successfully bonded with the character he plays that you might believe that he is that person. The sad part is that he rarely chooses it. He doesn't risk a lot, he makes A LOT of money because he doesn't, and as a result, a lot of people who enjoy movies don't like it.
Well personally, I really like Tom Cruise because of his acting as well as his amazing personality, the way he carries himself is amazing. But there are some people who don't like Tom Cruise.
There are several reasons why people hate Tom Cruise.
1.Scientology: This is the main reason why people don't like him because he believes in Scientology so much.
2.Dishonesty with his personal life: People hate Tom Cruise because he seems to be dishonest regarding his personal life. Because they believe that he is lying about his sexual preferences, whether he is gay or not.
3.Weird Movie Selection Choices: People hate him because of the weird movie selection of him like 'Eyes Wide Shut'.
Jealousy - This is the most common reason to hate someone, this is why many people hate Tom Cruise for his successful life.
4.Insecurity about his height: Many people do not like him, due to their insecurity about his height. He frequently wears heels for added boost and, while he is married to Nicole Kidman (who is 5ft 10in), he forbade her to wear heels.
5.His interview with Oprah: This will be the main reason people don't like Tom Cruise because the interview was forced and a little false due to him proclaiming his love for Katie Holmes.
Apart from all these reasons, there are many people who like Tom Cruise because of his incredible movies in which few of them are incredible and memorable. And that's why for those fans Tom is once again ready to deliver surprises through his upcoming movies.
I think one of the main modern reasons is your support for Scientology. People often dislike Scientology because of their beliefs, they dislike it because they have a long history of exploiting and abusing people. They aggressively bully people they consider critical, especially if those people are former members. Also, read about the “Organization of the Sea” and you will see many stories of people being treated like slaves today, bullied when they want to leave and forced to disconnect with their children / parents and other family members.
Tom Cruise is a good friend of the Scientology leader and an ardent supporter of it, and many people find it disgusting that someone of such stature can support an organization that participates in the abuse of thousands of people at any given time. And I agree with this, if you are supporting an organization that routinely isolates, bankrupt, and people, you are a horrible human being.
I'd say this is why most people today don't like Tom Cruise.
