1958 JAYNE MANSFIELD "WARDROBE MALFUNCTION"
This is not a postcard or reproduction but an actual gelatin photo from the 1950s. She is at Romanoff's Restaurant in Beverly Hills, CA. Sophia Loren is seated next to her and you can see her shoulder in the lower left. If you searched the Motion Picture and Television Image Vault for photos of Mansfield at Romanoff's, other photos from that same shoot come up, but not this one.
It was eliminated because of the peak-a-boo nature of the photo. She bent over a little bit too far, and I can tell you Loren did not approve. You can see her reaction in some of the other Mansfield photos listed on eBay. Gentleman in the background is Jayne's husband, Mickey Hargitay. CONDITION - Condition is pretty good, with yellowed cellophane tape at both top and bottom, and tiny push pin holes in the corners. I do COMBINE SHIPPING for multiple wins.
