The success of a movie is not always linked to the love that actors have for their work. In fact, there is more than one actor who regrets having recorded films that catapulted him to fame because it was not as they expected or they had a hard time filming.
Roles that some actors regret having done
1- Kate Winslet - Titanic
Titanic made rookie Kate Winslet a superstar, but she remembers it so well. The actress has admitted that she is very grateful for Titanic even though she had a really bad time filming the movie in ice water and she would not repeat it.
2- Meryl Streep - Kramer VS Kramer
Although Streep ended up winning an Oscar for this movie, she didn't exactly have a good time shooting it. Her co-star Dustin Hoffman wanted to get a better performance, so before filming she made fun of her recently deceased husband and even hit him some cake without warning.
3- Leonardo DiCaprio - The Revenant
It was the movie with which he broke the Oscar curse, but it wasn't easy to shoot. The director put Leonardo through hell to get a very realistic performance and even made him eat raw animal parts.
4- Hayden Christensen - Star Wars
It seemed like it was going to be the role of his life when the actor got to play Anakin Skywalker, however it ended his career. The hatred of his character and the quality of this trilogy make him wish he had never participated in them.
5- Christian Bale - The Machinist
The transformation that Bale underwent for this film was brutal as he lost almost 50 kilos. He only ate a can of tuna and an apple a day, in addition to exercising daily. The film was not recognized by either the public or the critics and has remained as an anecdote of his career.

The role that made him a star has also put Pattinson through hell. Fans of the series made him feel very uncomfortable and compared him to his character in real life. He himself has said that he wishes he had not accepted it.
7- Jennifer Lawrence - Mother!
The actress is known for turning everything she touches to gold, but she didn't do so well with this movie. She did a good job, although during filming she broke a rib and sustained several other injuries.

Jonan Hill's weight loss for this movie was very popular at the time. He went through hell to lose weight for a movie that didn't work or was any kind of success.
11- Jim Carrey - The Grinch
The costume that the actor had to wear for this movie was really annoying and he had to do it for a long time. He spent more than three hours on makeup each day and even wore colored contact lenses that bothered his eyes.
12- George Clooney - Three Kings
Clooney and the director of the film, David O. Russell, got into a fist fight in the middle of the set of this film when the actor tried to defend one of his companions in front of the director. Clooney has said it was the worst experience of his career.

Again David O. Russell had a fight with the protagonist of one of his films. Lily Tomlin assures that very ugly things were said and that she would not work with him again.
