HOW WAS BRUCE LEE SO POWERFUL, DESPITE HIS SIZE?
Bruce Lee is one of the most famous martial artists of all time, and one of the most powerful fighters in the world. However, he was not a Hercules, and he seemed to be diminutive if we think of him as a "strong" human being. How was he so powerful with such a small size? We explain it to you in 3 reasons.
1-Incredible speed and short bursts
Thanks to his intense training, which consisted of short explosive bursts of power, Bruce developed incredible muscle contraction power that could be accelerated very quickly at close range. This is best seen in the jaw-dropping power of his famous "one-inch punch."
2-More muscular than the inexperienced eye would think
Bruce Lee might not seem like a great bodybuilder, but he didn't need it. In fact, he had extremely low body fat and musculature more like that found in gymnasts, who are very strong, even despite his relatively slim appearance. For all his muscles, Bruce Lee could never physically reach the strength of someone much bigger than him because his biomechanics, measured 171 cm in height.
