LOS ANGELES-As other Hollywood superstars have done, the Texan actress, clothing designer and singer wanted to show the world her state of good hope. Jessica Simpson proudly shows off an advanced stage of pregnancy in one of the world's best-selling fashion publications.
After confirming that she was expecting a child last October, Jessica Simpson stars on the April cover of the North American edition of 'ELLE' magazine. Simpson appears completely naked and pregnant wearing only impressive jewelry.
The 31-year-old singer, engaged since 2010 to former football player Eric Johnson, has confirmed that she is expecting a girl. Revealed the sex of the baby, at least surprising are the statements of the blonde star in 'ELLE' which we can also see on an alternative cover to which a tight red dress has been added.
"I swear, you can give me something if you ask for a pair of Nike shoes instead of Christian Louboutins! Eric is so athletic that we are sure to have a sports girl and I won't be able to take her shopping."
Little is known about the name chosen by future parents. "It will not be anything shocking and no one will have to add it to the dictionary. At most, when people hear it, they will know why," says Simpson inside the publication.
For her part, Jessica Simpson's ex-husband, Nick Lachey, announced this week that he, too, is expecting her first child along with her new girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo.
