Keanu Reeves breaks his silence on his marriage to Winona Ryder
Winona Ryder said in the summer that she had married Keanu Reeves during the filming of 'Dracula' and it seems that everything is true.
Winona Ryder broke the news last summer: she and Keanu Reeves have been married for more than 25 years because that's how they shot it in Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula. But Reeves still had not commented on a news that caught many of the actors' fans by surprise.
Ryder and Reeves were married by a "real Romanian priest" in the wedding scene their characters starred in Dracula, as Ryder herself told Entertainment Weekly in August and confirmed by Ford Coppola days later: "We shot the master and [the priest ] He did everything he had to do, so I think we're married. " And although Reeves then conceded that Ryder was probably right, it has not been until now that the actor has commented on what he thinks of his supposed official marriage to the actress.

"I ever get a message from him that says, 'Hello, husband,'" Reeves says in an interview for The Talk that aired this Monday. "I didn't quite believe it, but then Francis Ford Coppola, the director of Dracula, contacted Winona and said publicly that yes, that really happened, that the priest did a complete ceremony and that Winona and I were married." So is it real? "Yes, it's great," Reeves says in his interview.
Ryder and Reeves have already shared four film sets. To Dracula we must add his collaborations in A Scanner Darkly (2006), Pippa Lee's Private Life (2009) and My Ex's Wedding (2018). The two have always been very loving to each other in public statements. Just last summer, while promoting their latest movie together, Reeves said in an interview with People magazine that he believes Ryder is "a lovely person and a talented actress" and that he and she make "a good match."
