Kim Kardashian West has requested to be legally single and to get her maiden name back as Kanye West's divorce proceedings progress.
The 41-year-old SKIMS mogul filed the legal documents Friday that will legally make her a single woman if approved by a judge, according to TMZ.
Perhaps most interestingly, Kim wants her maiden name restored, which means leaving the West despite her business as KKW Beauty and her KKW fragrance using her married initials.

The legal measure basically consists of asking the judge to separate the issues of child custody, property and financial implications from the actual marital status.
