Kim Kardashian has something special to celebrate this holiday season: her boyfriend Pete Davidson was a huge hit with her children. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has four young kids with estranged husband Kanye West. Though technically still married to Kanye, Kim took action to be declared legally single amid her whirlwind romance.
The Skims founder reportedly began seeing the Saturday Night Live star about two months ago, after she guest hosted the long-running comedy series. Dating rumors began after the two were spotted holding hands on a roller coaster. In recent weeks, their relationship has became quite serious very quickly. While all this is happening, Kanye publicly begged her to reconcile. But by taking this next big step with Pete, the reality star is showing the rapper how much she's moved on.
A source told Hollywood Life that Kim has already introduced Pete to her kids. And, luckily, it reportedly went really well. The source, who claims to be close with the Kardashian family, went so far as to say that "they adore him." The anonymous insider explained that Kim, who recently passed the baby bar exam, introduced her 28-year-old beau as a "mommy friend." The way he interacted with North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm reportedly solidified the mom of four's strong feelings. As the source explained, "Kim thought that it was really cute how he interacted with them and that he tried to make her kids laugh and smile just as he does everyone he meets!” Previously, insiders have shared that the Staten Island native's humor is a major reason why the 41-year-old was so drawn to Pete.
Meeting the kids isn't the only sign that this new relationship is going well. The TV personality has gone to her beau's Staten Island home a number of times. Kim has already met Pete's mom, as the three were spotted having an intimate dinner together. That meeting was also a success, as onlookers reported that Kim was laughing throughout. And the comedian has been photographed spending time with Kris Jenner. The pair also took a trip together to Beverly Hills, where paparazzi caught Pete driving Kim's car.
Pete has dated his share of celebrities, including The Voice judge Ariana Grande. Even so, he wasn't exactly the most obvious choice for Kim's first post-divorce romance. However, his sense of humor and willingness to poke fun at himself makes the Set It Up star the polar opposite of Kanye West. Meanwhile, the musician was seeing a model named Vinetria, even as he begged Kim to reconcile. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the two have since broken up.
Kim and Pete won't spend the holidays together, but that's pretty much the only time they've been apart in recent weeks. Fans will surely be waiting to see if the comedian shows up on one of the family's post-Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality shows. These new series will be exclusively on Hulu.
