The Oscar winner for 'Shallow' is the third woman to wear the iconic jewel.

The singer Lady Gaga wore, during Sunday's 91st Oscars, a necklace with a yellow diamond that was worn by Audrey Hepburn.

The Tiffany & Co. diamond worn by the singer has 82 facets, 24 more than usual, is 128.54 carats, was found in 1877 in South Africa and is valued at about $ 30 million. The iconic Audrey Hepburn wore it in a choker during a promo shoot for the movie 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' in 1961.

Lady Gaga is the third woman to wear it in her 142-year history. The first was Sheldon Whitehouse, at the 1957 Tiffany Ball, and later Audrey Hepburn, according to Vanity Fair and the firm itself.

"@ladygaga brings the Tiffany diamond to 2019 #Oscars. In total 128.54 carats, this is only the third time it has been used in history. #AStarIsBorn #TheTiffanyDiamond," the company tweeted.

The also actress accompanied the iconic jewel with a very Hepburn-style look: a black Alexander McQueen dress and gloves of the same color.

Gaga took along with Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt, a statuette for Best Original Song with 'Shallow', the theme of the film 'A star is born'.
