MILEY CYRUS AND PETE DAVIDSON OFFICIALLY TOGETHER AND KIM KARDASHIAN LIKES THE IDEA
Last week it became known that there is a new party to ring in the New Years list in primetime and the special has something of “BDE:” Big Debut Energy. NBC's Miley's New Years Eve party will be held in Miami on December 31 and her co-host is Pete Davidson. This Thursday, Miley Cyrus shared her first promotional image with her co-host with the following message: “GREAT ENERGY DEBUT,” she joked. “Pete and I are officers! CO-HOSTS, that's it! " Cyrus is seen hugging Davidson in the photo, but her girlfriend Kim Kardashian didn't seem very jealous when she liked the snapshot in support.
The duo join Jimmy Fallon tonight for The Tonight Show, “Watch @fallontonight Our first show together as a couple! We will talk about the #MileysNewYearsEveParty organized by the US in Miami! ”, Cyrus wrote at the bottom of the image.
Cyrus and Davidson have worked together over the years during their appearances on Saturday Night Live. “THIS CHAOTIC DUO,” wrote one fan in the comments. Others were somewhat discouraged because they would like to see them as a couple, "Can we make this couple happen?" Another joked about Davidson: "Someone stop him."
People have already started making memes with the photo of Cyrus and Davidson and one caught the attention of the singer who re-posted it in her story. The user wrote "me after a night of drinking" about Cyrus and "La Croix without gas and hot on my nightstand" about the SNL actor. Cyrus didn't seem to mind that her co-host was being compared to hot sparkling water and she wrote, "Totally LOL!"
Miley's New Years Eve party is replacing the NBC New Years Eve special that has been hosted and produced by Carson Daly from 2004 to last year and will take place in Miami starting at 10:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. ET. As DailyMail pointed out, they are competing against shows like Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin ’Eve With Ryan Seacrest, which has incredible viewership ratings every year.
