Saweetie slays in sheer black as Doja Cat dons nude bodysuit on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve red carpet
It was a scaled back Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in New York City on Thursday night.
But the stars still put on a show for the event’s socially distanced red carpet.
Rapper Saweetie and En Vogue brought some sizzle with their choice of outfits ahead of their performances on the telecast.
Saweetie, 26, went all out for sparkle in a black bra top with sheer sleeves and bodice and over-the knee silver glitter boots.
She added lots of gold necklaces as well as dramatic gold earrings and a shiny gold girdle dripping in rhinestones.
The rapper also wore diamond cuffs on each wrist and statement rings, and was made up with shimmery eye-shadow and enormous false lashes.
Her silver hair was swept back from her face and slicked behind her ears and she completed her look with bronze blusher and matte red lip color.
Doja Cat spared few blushes, showing up in a nude bodysuit with strategically placed large glitter and a shiny silver belt.
The outfit featured a bushy silver tinsel half-skirt at the back.
The recording artist wore a silver bob wig and added strappy silver heels as well as sparkly silver eye-shadow.
En Vogue coordinated their outfits, arriving in matching metallic gray ensembles.
Cindy Herron opted for a one-sleeve dress with sweetheart neckline and paired it with black ankle boots and chandelier earrings.
Terry Ellis chose an eye-popping mini dress with cut out bodice that emphasized her cleavage.
Meanwhile, Rhona Bennett went with a long-sleeve caped crop top and matching ankle-length skirt split to the thigh on one side.
Also walking the red carpet was Ciara, another performer on the show hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
The model and recording artist sported long blue hair and wore a stylish sparkly black jumpsuit gathered at the waist.
The wife of Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson stepped out in black boots with silver tassels and accessorized with a stunning diamond necklace.
