Marilyn Monroe: the mystery of the hidden photos of her n**d corpse

Almost 60 years after her death, two rolls of photos of Marilyn Monroe's n**d corpse are found in hiding. This is revealed by the documentary Scandalous: The Death of Marilyn Monroe, which premieres on Fox News Channel.
The documentary features an interview with the son of the photographer who captured the images of the lifeless body of the Hollywood icon while he was inside the Los Angeles morgue.
Devik Wiener, the son of famed photographer Leigh Wiener, reveals in Scandalous how his father bribed morgue employees to get to the coroner's quarters, just hours after the One Eve and Two Adams star was found dead in his bed, August 5, 1962.
"It was not the first time my father used a couple of whiskey bottles to enter an area that was off limits," Devik recounts in the documentary. "He offered the drink to a couple of boys, and the next thing was is that it was in the back ".
Leigh then took out three rolls of photos that he sent to Life magazine. That batch of images included one showing a tag hanging from Monroe's foot, which was already in a morgue chamber.
Two hidden scrolls
Although that photo traveled the world, according to Devik it was far from being the most scandalous of the images that her father took that night. It turns out that Leigh allegedly pulled out two more rolls of film that contained photographs of Monroe's naked corpse.
"The last two rolls had images that went beyond the toe tag. He took them to his own study, processed them, examined them and then quickly put them in a safe deposit box," reveals Devik, adding that the photos were not suitable for public consumption. Leigh died in 1993, without revealing where the photos of the star's naked corpse lay. "Actually, she died with that mystery," says Devik.
As Marilyn is one of the most iconic and famous personalities of the 20th century, and as her death is, to this day, surrounded by mysteries and intrigue, the photos showing her hours after her death were supposed to be sold in sidereal sums, according to the British media.
An image of the actress taken shortly after her death and not corresponding to Leigh's lens surprised fans after it was leaked, in the days after her passing. In this photo you can see the protagonist of The Seventh Year Itch with a white sheet up to her pear.
