1) Britney gets sssssexy with a python
BRIT went from innocent southern teen to raunchy sexpot thanks to one rather large Burmese python.
Dressed in next to nothing, she danced a sweaty jig with this yellow fella on her shoulders at the 2001 MTV VMAs.
The performance of I'm A Slave 4 U has gone down as one of the annual bash's most iconic ever — although animal welfare charity PETA complained about it.
2) Kiss me baby one more time
BRITNEY and Madonna kissed in front of millions of television viewers and a stunned audience of stars at the 2003 VMAs.
Madonna was 45 at the time, more than twice Britney's age, and Brit's ex Justin Timberlake was not the only man in the crowd to look visibly
uncomfortable.
3) Married for just 55 hours
In January 2004, Britney drunkenly wed school friend Jason Alexander at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.
Just 55 hours later, the marriage was annulled because Britney "lacked understanding of her actions".
Brit's record label dubbed it "a joke that went too far" and Jason later reflected that it was "just crazy, man".
4) Britney bares all
Around 2006, Britney became notorious for leaving her knickers at home.
Flashing her wares to the world, she was frequently snapped in all her glory getting in and out of cars.

In 2004, Britney got engaged to her backing dancer, Kevin Federline, just three months after meeting him.
