Unpopular opinion: Angelina Jolie is not a good actress.
She has the same part, the same facial features (no facial features), the same body language in every movie. It’s like ‘here is another instalment of Angelina’. Nothing is different. I don’t know how she got the title of being a great actress, but she isn’t. She doesn’t use facial features at all in her movies and she can only play certain roles because she cannot do anything else.
At least the roles that she get she plays them kind of decent, but not well…at all. She’s always a spy, the mysterious 'badass’, the misunderstood teenager/adult, or the troubled person in a film.
She has the exact same voice and language of how she talks in each movie and her body language is the same. Whenever you think of Angelina Jolie, you don’t think of her as playing the part of a cute and flirty babysitter, you think something along 'spy’ or 'misunderstood’. And if you say she doesn’t have the face for anything else, it proves that she doesn’t act well because any great actress (that Angelina has the title of) can do that and make it seem like a totally different personality. Angelina can’t do any other type of character or genre and the ones that she actually acts, are not good.
The only reason why people admire her, I think, is because she is hot. But she isn’t a great actress. If she wants to have the great title of being hot, then give it to her, but don’t give her the title of a great actress when she isn’t.
