Jake Gyllenhaal: "The sex scenes with Jennifer Aniston were torture"

"Filming the sex scenes was torture, yes it was," the actor said on the show as he laughed. “But on the other hand it wasn't, of course. I mean, it was a mix of both."

And it's also like a dance, you're following a choreography for the camera. You can really get into it, but it's like a fight scene, you have to choreograph those scenes."

And he said that it was Aniston herself, more accustomed to such situations, who suggested it. “I think it was very kind of you to suggest it before we started. In 2016, Gyllenhaal first revealed his crush on Aniston. “I had a crush on her for years. And working with her was not easy,” he told People magazine. And he admitted at the time that he wasn't a fan of the hit NBC sitcom.
