Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander, Amy Adams and Darren Le Gallo. They are all really beautiful celebrity couples that make us envy everything about the life of entertainment. Not only do they have beautiful faces that match, but they seem to have the most perfect relationships in all of Hollywood, so much so that it is inevitable to think that they have their own movie where they are protagonists. But not all celebrity couples are beautiful, there are some that make us say "What the hell were they thinking?" because they are so strange and mismatched that they should never have been together.
Tom Cruise and Cher
Although Cher had known about this relationship since the late 1980s, she barely spoke openly about the affair she had with the actor who was younger than her. She claims that she was one of the best lovers she's ever had, and she speaks highly of Cruise. However, not only did their age difference make them look like an odd couple, but their eccentricities were so extreme that it was impossible to take them seriously together.
Macaulay Culkin and Mila Kunis
Although the relationship was very positive for both, and lasted almost a decade, the Hollywood media refused to believe that Mila Kunis had chosen one of the most unattractive characters in Hollywood, compared to other suitors she had had. However, the criticism never mattered to him and both lived their romance in private. They recently ended but remain on good terms.
Matthew McConaughey and Janet Jackson
The two met at the 2002 Grammys and reportedly shared a very brief affair over the next few months. Apparently the man was just looking for something sexual and when she started talking about relationships he ended up running away from her. Many still appreciate it as it seemed strange that such a strange couple existed. It wasn't that she was unattractive, but that she was too old for him.
Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley
We will never understand why this pair decided to come together. Lisa Marie was the daughter of the King of Rock and Michael the King of Pop. Maybe that made sense to them? However, they both met when they were children and met again as adults. They began dating in 1992 and married in 1994 amid allegations of sexual abuse against Jackson. They divorced in a very short time.
Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavinge
Chad is part of one of the worst (or at least one of the most criticized) rock bands in history, and Avril Lavinge is hated by the rock scene for being a pop artist disguised as a punk girl. Maybe that's why they got so close. They started dating in 2012 and decided to get married in less than a year, but after two years Lavigne announced the separation from her.

Although Alanis is only two years older than Ryan Reynolds, she seemed much older when she started dating him, which earned her multiple criticisms, which were ignored by the couple. Both met in 2002 and in 2004 they decided to get married, but three years after they got engaged, they canceled the plans and separated. In the end she wrote an entire album about the relationship.
Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson
Ariana Grande may be the biggest pop star today (or at least one of them) but she certainly has peculiar taste in men. Pete Davidson, her current fiancé, is far from being considered an attractive man, but he certainly has something that catches her eye. The media still does not believe that the two are a couple, but apparently we will see them together very often.

It is said that the pair were inseparable for two months and that their relationships were extremely intense, but together... they were terrifying.
To be sure, there are "unmatched" couples in and out of Hollywood who just don't go well together. Whether it was their age, their style or their attractiveness, they fit together in an odd way. Many of them are no longer together and have found someone better, but those that remain... will no doubt continue to elicit awkward smiles.
