Born October 14, 1996, Lourdes Leon is the daughter of Madonna and Cuban sports coach Carlos Leon. She is the eldest of the American star's six children, and has two half-brothers, Rocco and David, and three half-sisters; Mercy, Esther and Stella.
Having inherited her mother's irreverent personality, Lourdes nonetheless received a strict upbringing. A rigidity that Madonna has always assumed, who does not hesitate to control the homework of her children, their appearance and their diet. A severity which Lourdes seems not to have held against her mother as it is common to see them appear together. Lourdes also remained very close to her father, from whom Madonna separated a few months after her birth, but with whom she remained on very good terms.
