When traveling abroad, Donald Trump always eats the same thing
The American president’s menu cannot adapt.
For nine days, Donald Trump is on an official visit to several countries, the opportunity to meet and speak with their leaders. Normally, a president cuts a good figure, adapting a little to local customs, especially the cuisine. The billionaire is such a picky eater that he worries his employees who have to explain his tastes to the cooks every time. This is what the Grubstreet website reports.
Donald Trump doesn’t like to travel, he didn’t particularly want to take an express tour of Saudi Arabia, Italy or Israel in nine days. The president likes his comfort. It is still ideal for him to receive world leaders at his estate in Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. There, he doesn't even have to order, the teams know by heart what he wants to eat. But the countries he has planned to visit do not have Trump hotels.
Well done steak and ketchup all over the world
Even in the Trump Tower restaurant, he has a special menu. And when he entertains, he gets an equally special treatment: two scoops of ice cream instead of one for the other guests. Trump's penchant for junk food, soda, and fast food has been described at length (and maligned), but it was not suspected that he was prepared to go for any deviation from this high calorie diet.
So, upon arriving in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Trump was served a well-done steak with ketchup. His favorite dish. Well, we also presented him with lamb with rice, but we suspect he didn't dip the fork in. Conversely, Prince Charles was served a whole roasted camel upon his arrival in the kingdom. Ironically, the steak was halal, a shame for this detractor of Islam.
