Who killed Marilyn Monroe? Five theories about the death of the most famous blonde

1. suicide
Probable suicide, that's how the cause of death of Norma Jeane Baker, her real name, was described by the Police report. On August 5, at 4:25 a.m., Dr. Greenson, Marilyn Monroe's psychiatrist, called Los Angeles Police Department Chief Jack Clemmons to inform him that the actress had died.
An autopsy revealed that she had died of an overdose of barbiturates. However, when Clemmons arrived at the scene, he noticed a series of inconsistencies in the testimonies of the doctors and the housekeeper, Eunice Murray, recommended to work by Dr. Greenson himself.
The scene seemed altered, the sheets were changed and clean and the body had been moved. The policeman also did not see water or a glass with which he could have ingested the pills, although a glass would later appear on the scene after the arrival of other policemen and coroners.
2. The Kennedys did it
Monroe's sexy performance at Madison Square Garden, in which she sang Happy Birthday to President John F. Kennedy, has been immortalized in pop culture for several reasons. One of them is that just two and a half months later, on August 5, 1962, the famous actress was found dead.
Although the romance between the US president and the actress has never been confirmed, strong rumors assure that the most famous platinum blonde in Hollywood knew a lot about the life of John F. Kennedy and his brother, Robert Kennedy, with who apparently would also have had an affair.
According to an FBI document, revealed in 2007 by Australian filmmaker Philippe Mora, Robert Kennedy may have been an accomplice in a plot to induce the actress's suicide. The FBI file infers that the alleged plot was carried out to silence Monroe, who had threatened to reveal everything about her relationship with the Kennedy brothers.
Kennedy's then-brother-in-law Peter Lawford, Monroe's psychiatrist Dr. Ralph Greenson, housekeeper Eunice Murray and agent Pat Newcomb are also implicated.
It was well known that Monroe suffered from depression and that she had struggled with drug and alcohol abuse. The document suggests that her alleged co-conspirators gave her the means for a suicide attempt, such as the barbiturate Seconal, and then left her to die.
3. The mafia was in charge of murdering her
This theory involves Chicago mob boss Sam Giancana and one of his henchmen, Johnny Roselli, who was headlong into the world of Hollywood. According to this thesis, Giancana had forced Monroe's first contract in exchange for her seducing powerful men. Thus, with the information collected by the blonde 'Mata Hari', the mobster could blackmail whoever he wanted.
However, her plans were spoiled when the actress threatened to tell everything she knew. It was at that time that several wiretaps were placed in her house by Bernard Spindel, a surveillance expert linked to the mafia.
Although it is not known with certainty who ordered the wiretaps placed in his house, since the list of suspects is long, the audios, later destroyed in 1966, show Robert Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe and Peter Lawford arguing on the night of August 4, moments before his death.

Porter believes that five mob hit men were responsible for her murder. They would have used a chloroform-soaked wipe and then gave him a barbiturate enema, according to the biographer. According to ufologist Steven Greer, Monroe was killed by the CIA because she knew the truth about Roswell and planned to reveal everything. Greer is the producer of a documentary where the whole truth about the blonde's death is revealed, based on a classified CIA memorandum.
In the alleged memo, it is claimed that Kennedy told Monroe that he witnessed evidence of "things from outer space" at a secret air base. According to the ufologist, he was referring to the historic Roswell crash in New Mexico in 1947. Many believe that it was UFOs that crashed on American soil that day.
"She threatened to hold a press conference to tell the world what John F. Kennedy had told her during a talk (…) she was assassinated for this," says Greer.
5. The theory that can not be missing: it is still alive
This is the conspiracy theory that never fails to explain the death of a celebrity and could not fail to explain the final fate of this beautiful woman.
According to John Alexander Baker, author of Marilyn Monroe: Was She Alive in 1984?, her psychiatrist, Dr. Ralph Greenson, had her committed to a mental institution in New Brunswick, Canada, due to a collapse. According to this theory, the star of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes remained in the institution for 20 years without being recognized.
Baker spoke with the alleged Monroe, who was schizophrenic, paranoid and homeless. The book's author admits that the woman's state of mind would make her story difficult for most to believe, but states, "I believe 99% that she really is who she says she is."
