Controversial statements by Marisa Tomei about 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'

Marisa Tomei, actress who plays Aunt May in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming', has made some controversial statements about a missing scene.

The montage of 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' has upset Marisa Tomei. The actress who plays Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) Aunt May in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been really disappointed with a scene that Jon Watts did not include in the film footage of the latest Marvel Studios movie. A scene that, although it may not seem like it, had a lot of charge. Especially emotional and symbolic charge between Spidey and Aunt May. But, finally, we were left without seeing it.

"I was really disappointed that that scene wasn't in the movie. Peter took part of his ethics and morals from Aunt May thanks to that missing moment, "explained Marisa Tomei.

These are the statements made by the actress. Although she has not wanted to take the matter further, she has explained the moment in question. And she has acknowledged that she has felt really upset about not having her in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming':

"In the deleted scene something was happening in the neighborhood and there was a girl in danger. So I saved her. But Peter saw me do that and he took some of the ethics and morals of Spider-Man from Aunt May from him… Then we would go home and my character would not mention what happened to him. And, of course, he was silent and kept quiet about many things that he wanted to tell me. At the end he tells me: 'How was the day?', And I answer that he had been fine. But I really felt shaken by what had happened in the neighborhood. The situation was awkward, both for me and for him. And we're both living in that house together. I was really disappointed that they removed this scene."
