'GAME OF THRONES': EMILIA CLARKE, FED UP WITH SCENES
"The s** scenes are generally gratuitous and are only intended to draw the attention of the audience," the actress told the Daily Mail.
Emilia Clarke (London, 1986), Daenerys Targaryen in 'Game of Thrones', has once again publicly shown her rejection in public of the high level of eroticism that the series shows, and that for her it is nothing more than a strategy to win audience. "The s**ual scenes should be more subtle," Clarke confessed during a party in the London neighborhood of Mayfair, in statements collected by the British newspaper Daily Mail.
"Most of the s** scenes that are seen in movies or on television are free and usually just seek to attract the attention of the audience," says the actress, who has not filmed any nu*** or topless scenes for a long time in the series, being replaced by her double, the British model based in Marbella Rosie Mac.Clarke managed to include this clause in her contract a couple of years ago, according to her partner Oona Chaplin, who explained that Clarke had told those responsible from the series that she wanted to be known for her acting, not her breasts.
"I don't want s** thrown in my face, and I've always found suggestiveness to be much more exciting than the act itself," says the actress, who nonetheless acknowledges that her British upbringing can influence how she sees things: "I'm English, so I cringe when I see some things, I can't help it".
