Jennifer Aniston slammed by fans for Unrecognizable snaps in cover shoot
The actress is gracing the multicover issues of InStyle magazine for October, but fans reckon has pictures have seen a bit too much touching up
Hollywood legend Jennifer Aniston is being attacked by fans for a series of covers she's shot for InStyle magazine.
The 50 year-old appears on five different editions of the October issue of the magazine in a variety of outfits and poses. The magazine also features an extended interview with the Friends star, titled Jennifer Aniston - Babe Eternal.
InStyle took to its Instagram account to share the covers with fans, but they seem preoccupied about Jen's appearance.
On a post showing a cover in which Jen's hair is held beneath her chin with a gold chain, one fan asked: "Beautiful cover, but why is she ten shades darker than she really is?"
Another said: "Love her, but too airbrushed."
On another cover, featuring a close up of Jen wearing a hood over her blond locks, a fan laughed: "Will the real Jennifer Aniston please stand up!"
Eagle-eyed fans noted that this picture features more freckles than the others, with one trying to kickstart the hashtag #fakefreckles.
One shows Jen giving off working woman vibes while rocking a white blazer. One user gushed: "so damn powerful."
Others agreed that this one should have been the only cover, with one writing: "I would've stuck with this cover and called it a day!"
On the other covers, Jen channels 80s style with a leather jacket and bow in the hair, while in another she shows off her tan with a stripy tank top and some epic eye liner.
InStyle's post delves into Jen as a character and gives us a sneak peak of the interview.
It reads: "Cheers to Jennifer Aniston - the woman has a lot to be proud of."
Jen then talks candidly about her upcoming comedy-drama series with Reese Witherspoon , The Morning Show, and will air on Apple TV+ in November.
The show follows newsroom brawls as Jen and Reese compete to be news anchor top dog.
The blond beauty said: "When we found out that we were among the first shows to be bought by Apple, @ReeseWitherspoon and I both had this pinch-me moment.
"The first women to help launch a network as actors and producers, having a beautiful piece of that pie that we really earned and deserved.
"We had a big toast to that."
