Michael Jackson was addicted to drugs, says his ex-wife Debbie Rowe

The second wife of singer Michael Jackson, Debbie Rowe, claimed that the "King of Pop" was addicted to powerful drugs for at least 12 years before his death.
According to an interview with the TMZ portal, Rowe confirmed Jackson's addiction in court; in addition, that a dermatologist also testified today in the process for the death of Michael Jackson and confirmed it.
Debbie reveals that the doctors administered Propofol to the singer so that he would sleep for eight hours straight without problems, since in the 80s and 90s he knew that Michael Jackson abused the drugs prescribed by doctors, but he did not know of their habits.
Rowe, who worked as a nurse when she met Jackson in the 1980s, explained that the doctors "seemed to compete" to see who was able to give the strongest painkiller to the artist, who began taking medication after the accident that occurred in 1984 while filming an advertisement for a brand of soft drinks, the day he burned his scalp.
He also added that when the singer's doctors announced the next tour that he would carry out, his psychiatrist told him that "it would kill him", since the rhythm of a world tour like the ones that Jackson carried out, his body could not endure it in the state of health in which it was before dying.
Rowe claimed that when she left Michael in July 1997, he was not an "out of control" addict, as he had gone to rehab and was open about it.
Jackson died in June 2009 from a drug overdose, mainly propofol, a substance administered by doctor Conrad Murray, who was sentenced to 4 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter.
