Sally Field spotted out for the first time in over a year as she heads out to run errands in Santa Monica
Sally Field has been spotted in public for the first time in over a year, as she headed out to run some errands.
The 74-year-old actress was spotted out solo in Santa Monica on Tuesday afternoon, rocking a casually comfy look.
The two-time Oscar winner was in good spirits while also doing her part to keep COVID-19 at bay by masking up.
She stepped out wearing a grey California t-shirt under a navy blue Moncler puffer vest as she stepped out for errands.
She also wore black Puma sweats that were rolled up to her knees, with thin-framed glasses and her hair pulled back.
Field completed her look with white tennis shoes and small gold hoop earrings with a small white shopping bag slung from her shoulder.
The actress has won two Oscars, three Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes over her illustrious career.
She still continues to work regularly, playing Janice in the 2020 TV series Dispatches From Elsewhere.
She also recently signed on to play Jessie Buss, the mother of Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss in an untitled Showtime TV series.
The show will chronicle the Lakers' 'Showtime' era, with John C. Reilly playing Jerry, Adrien Brody as iconic coach Pat Riley and Jason Clarke as Laker legend Jerry West.
The show is currently filming, was created by Jim Hecht and Max Borenstein, with Adam McKay directing the pilot episode.
There is no indication how long production is supposed to last for, with the project expected to debut on Showtime in 2022.
Field was last spotted in public back in early December 2019, when she was honored at the 2019 Kennedy Center Honors in Washington D.C.
She also made headlines last month when Oprah Winfrey revealed an 'inappropriate question' she asked Field about Burt Reynolds makes her 'cringe' still to this day.
'My big mistake: I asked her, "Does Burt sleep with his toupee on?"' she recalled, referring to the Oscar-winning actress' then-relationship with Burt Reynolds.
