Sharon Stone A Look at Her Best Performances

Sharon Stone is an American actress born March 10, 1958 in Pennsylvania. Coming from a relatively modest background, her father is a worker and her mother is a chartered accountant. She has two brothers and a sister.

Very young and pushed by her parents, Sharon Stone has ambition. A great reader, she dreams of being an actress or a lawyer. In the 1980s, she scoured castings without really taking off, directors often preferring better-known actresses. The consecration comes with Basic Instinct in 1992, then Casino in 1995. Sharon Stone has since continued with more or less successful series and films. She is also a producer. The actress is involved in several humanitarian causes, and an ambassador for AIDS research.

On the private side, Sharon Stone, who has her star on Hollywood Boulevard, has been married three times: with George Englund Jr. and then with the producer of Stargate SG1, Michael Greenburg. She was also the wife of Phil Bronstein in 1998, with whom she adopted her first son. Sharon adopted three children, Roan in 2000, Laird in 2005, and Quinn in 2006.

On March 30, 2021, Sharon Stone published her autobiography entitled The Beauty of Living Twice, in which she revealed that she had witnessed the rape of her little sister Kelly by her maternal

Sharon Stone A Look at Her Best Performances

Total Recall (1990)

Verhoeven’s maximalist interpretation of Philip K. Dick story is unforgettable. Sharon, for her first major role, went mano a mano in one of the most expensive movies ever made (at the time). Her character is a tantalizing constellation of dream girl, double agent, jealous spouse and killing machine.

Broken Flowers (2005)

In Jim Jarmusch’s comedy-drama, Bill Murray’s protagonist Don Johnston, a former Don Juan, seeks out the old flames of his life. Sharon plays Laura, one of Don’s ex-lovers, and gave a sturdy supporting performance. The widow of a race car driver, Laura is very receptive to Don's visit, and sleeps with him that night.

The Muse (1999)

Sharon, in a delightfully buoyant turn, plays a pampered muse to screenwriters in shimmery pastel getups and pixie hair. Navigating between the mystical and the wacko with ace comic timing, Sharon’s character is the modern day muse who can inspire anyone.
