She told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday it was an 'incredible challenge' to find different ways to perform her character's rude scenes.
Speaking of Samantha's most outrageous moments in the HBO series, Kim was remarkably candid.
'I read one scene and I thought, "I don't know how I can pull that off. How can I make teabagging real?"
'It became this incredible challenge to fall onto the bed in a different way each time,' she continued.
'Teabagging' is a wild act in which the male inserts his testicles into his partner's mouth. The term derives from its apparent similarity to the motion of a tea bag being juiced into a mug.
The 60-year-old blonde also spoke about her famous scandalous photoshoot scene in the fourth season of And The City.
In the episode 'The Real Me', Samantha decides to have scandalous photographs taken as a reminder of how she used to look.
The English-born star told Daily Mail Australia she had a moment of panic and was 'too shy' to film the scene.
She claimed it required 'putting on the persona of Samantha' to actually go through with her performance.
She explained: 'I went back behind the partition and thought, “, what am I going to do? I’ve got to get this together.”
'So I just did my monologue almost like a mantra, and then came out and said, “Okay, do it”.
'I put on the persona of Samantha, so she gave me courage and demanded so much of me to be new and fresh in every situation.'
Kim, who admitted turning down her role in wild And The City several times, also revealed her affection for the character.
Despite having little in common with Samantha, the Golden Globe-winning star admired that 'she had no judgement towards anyone'.
'She was older than the other characters and was almost a mother figure to them, because she’d been there and done that already,' she said.
Kim is currently in Australia to launch the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year Competition.
