In Moulin Rouge, she stars as Satine alongside Ewan McGregor, Natalie Mendoza, John Leguizamo, Jim Broadbent, and Richard Roxburgh. Kidman received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress and the film was nominated for a total of eight Academy Awards including Best Picture and ultimately winning two for Best Production Design and Best Costume Design.
