Kristen Bell was born on July 18, 1980 in Michigan. She was passionate about comedy from childhood and went on stage for the first time in her college, where she played Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. She passed her first casting when she was only 11 years old. She then appeared in numerous advertisements and continued to land the leading roles in her high school productions. She then moved to New York to take drama lessons. The young woman takes to the boards of Broadway and plays Becky in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and gives the reply to Liam Neeson in The Crucible.
Determined to embark on television and cinema, she left New York for Los Angeles in 2002. She obtained several small roles in the series The Shield, Deadwood and Everwood. She landed her first real film role in Spartan, alongside Val Kilmer. But it was at 24 that she found fame, when she was chosen to play the heroine of the series Veronica Mars. On the heart side, she was Kevin Mann's girlfriend for five years. She is now the wife of actor Dax Shepard (since October 2013) and the couple gave birth to a little Lincoln. On December 19, 2014 the family grew with the arrival of a second granddaughter, Delta Shepard.
