Granddaughter of Jérôme Seydoux, president of Pathé cinemas, and grand-niece of Nicolas Seydoux, president of Gaumont, the young woman has been immersed in the world of cinema since her earliest childhood.
Born on July 1, 1985 in Paris, Léa Seydoux naturally turned to theater studies after obtaining her baccalaureate. She entered the theater school Les enfants terribles where she perfected her acting skills.
Her first appearance in front of the camera, Léa Seydoux owes it to the singer Raphaël who casted her for her clip Let's not go angry. She was only 20 at the time, but her talent was already attracting directors who gave her increasingly important roles.
