Britney Spears, Diana Spencer and other celebrities who have suffered harassment from the paparazzi
Britney Spears revealed that she has not stopped crying with the documentary that portrays the harassment she experienced
Britney Spears surprised by revealing that she cried for two weeks with the documentary Framing Britney, produced by The New York Times that shows the darkest side of her career between awkward interviews, paparazzi and the pressure to always be perfect.
Although the singer had previously referred to the documentary in an indirect way, she issued a statement through Instagram assuring that she did not see the full documentary but that what she has seen left her "embarrassed by the light they put on me".
"I cried for two weeks and well...I still cry sometimes!!!!" she added. The statement was accompanied by a video of the pop star dancing to the Aerosmith song Crazy.
"It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability because I have always been so judged... insulted... and shamed by the media... and still am to this day."
Framing Britney became a topic of conversation for days when it premiered in February, but the subject is something that should not be forgotten.
The paparazzi were a key point in Britney's crisis. They were the ones who released the photographs of the moment when she shaved her hair and attacked a car with an umbrella. They were the ones who made bets to get images of Britney tired and devastated with her children in her arms.
These photographers who tirelessly seek out celebrities, public figures and their families for material that brings in juicy amounts of money have been a problem for years.
Celebrity Obsession
The word paparazzi is derived from a character called paparazzo in Fellini's film La Doice Vita. It is a word derived from Italian that means a particularly annoying noise, similar to the buzzing of a mosquito.
What started as simple street photography is now a high-stakes game of cat and mouse.

There are many ethical, legal, and privacy issues that arise from this questionable business. Paparazzi tactics rely on shooting from anywhere they can get a compromising view, from rooftops to trees to poles. They have even resorted to more desperate measures like setting off building fire alerts to prompt an evacuation to get shots.
Many other celebrities who have suffered harassment from them.
Princess Diana.
Lady Di's case was a watershed in the world since a paparazzi chase caused her to suffer the fatal accident that took her life. The official report stated that Henri Paul, driver of the vehicle in which Diana was traveling, was under the influence of alcohol but that he lost control of the car when accelerating to avoid the paparazzi.
But Diana Spencer's life was also marked by the constant harassment of the cameras, in an attempt to capture her unhappiness within the Royal Family, as well as her affair with businessman Dodi Al Fayed.
Kim kardashian
Even though the socialite and businesswoman is famous for exposing her private life on social networks, there came a point where the paparazzi crossed the line with her and her sisters.
Kim's pregnancies were not easy at all since she had pre clampsia (extremely high blood pressure). Over the course of the months, she also went through many physical changes that made her the target of ridicule and criticism. The paparazzi did everything to get pictures of Kim looking uncomfortable with her body.
“Looking at all the pictures of me online and in magazines made me feel very insecure and I was afraid to wonder if I would ever get my pre-baby body back. I was embarrassed weekly with cover stories that made my insecurities so painful I couldn't leave the house for months. It really broke me," said the businesswoman.
