Cara Delevingne's powerful reason for never having plastic surgery
The actress confessed that she wants to get breast implants and rhinoplasty since she was a child, but she has never dared to do it.
In the last decade, Cara Delevingne has been one of the models that has had the most impact on current beauty canons; Only her eyebrows managed to change the trend in the world of makeup and give rise to the creation of endless products to try to emulate hers.
Ironically, she has been dealing with insecurity issues since childhood and has often wished to go under the knife for breast implants because she feels hers are uneven in size, or to have a nose job.
"I've been on the verge of seriously thinking about it and, luckily, in those moments I said to myself: 'Well, if I did, I don't think I could be honest about it,'" she confessed on the 'Make it Reign' podcast.
That has been the real reason why she has never dared to do it: the certainty that publicly confirming that she had resorted to plastic surgery would probably have harmed her career as a model, since she has worked for lingerie brands such as Victoria's Secret and La Pearl, and that she didn't want to lie about it.
"That would be a problem, because I think young girls or boys need to know that some things don't come naturally, and it's okay because they do... The saddest thing is that people can't talk openly about it, "
Cara she further revealed that she has not completely ruled out the possibility of getting 'some touch up' in the future, but now that she has focused on her facet as an actress, she is very clear that she would not try to hide it.
"I wouldn't want anyone wondering if I've done it or not. Wouldn't it be a lot easier to say, 'Yeah, sure, I changed this and that'?"
