Family secrets in documentary about Madonna
Singer Madonna reveals secrets of her family life and her interest in philosophy and theology in the documentary I'm going to tell you a secret, which was broadcast last night on British television channel 4.
The program, directed by the Swedish Jonás Akerlund, also shows the pop diva during her Re-Invention 2004 tour.
Cabal follower
At the start of filming, the 47-year-old American singer explains why she is a fervent follower of the cabal, stating that "light is immortality, it is a place where there is no pain or suffering."
The documentary shows the well-known perfectionism of the singer when choosing the dancers who accompanied her on her Re-Invention tour.
The diva attended a private screening of the documentary last Tuesday, along with various personalities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Stella McCartney and Sharleen Spiteri.
I'm going to tell you a secret is the first authorized documentary on the queen of pop since 1991, when the artist presented In bed with Madonna, directed by Alek Keshishian.
