Lady Gaga gives her jacket to a fan she met on the street
Meeting your idol on the street is not something that happens every day, but there is a low probability that it will happen. What to do at that time? A girl came across Lady Gaga in New York and had no doubts. She approached the singer and told her a story that not only moved the artist, but also made her take off her jacket and give it to her follower. What was it that happened?
The lucky one is called Shannon McKee and she has reported what happened to the TODAY publication. The young woman went out at night and ran into Lady Gaga in the company of her partner, Michael Polansky. Both were going to get takeout food and although the artist was wearing a mask, she could be recognized.
Shannon walked over to her and said, "Hey, that jacket you're wearing is badass." Lady Gaga responded with a "Thank you" and the girl, instead of leaving, stopped and turned to her to tell her something about herself.
"I had a story I wanted to tell her and I felt the need for her to listen to it," she has recounted. So she with all her courage told him the following: “My friend from high school was a big fan of you. You are the reason she came out and her top five tattoos are all about you. My brother has recently come out of the closet as well.”
Lady Gaga was stunned. “I just wanted to thank you for being supportive,” she added Shannon. The singer was moved by that girl's words and, without anyone expecting it, she took off the jacket she was wearing.
“You liked my jacket. Here you have it. It's yours. Put it on right now. Now you are a badass”, were the words that Lady Gaga dedicated to her. Shannon explained that Lady Gaga was very kind to her, something that, added to her gesture, left her totally shocked.
