Salma Hayek dodges wardrobe malfunction in purple dress at BAFTAs 2022

Salma Hayek graced the BAFTAs 2022 red carpet on Sunday in rich velvet, wearing an elegant purple dress by Gucci — but the low-cut, sweetheart neckline proved to be a minor problem.
The gown featured a high slit with lace detail underneath, and while the “House of Gucci” star bent over to adjust the skirt, she flashed an eyeful of ample cleavage.
Luckily, Hayek, 55, laughed off the incident, even posting a photo of herself mid-flash on Instagram.
“Sometimes in an effort to cover something other things show up more,” the “30 Rock” star captioned a side-by-side photo of her before and after the cleavage reveal.
Although the actress might have showed off a bit more than she bargained for, the low-cut gown proved to provide an ideal place to rest one’s head.
This morning, Hayek shared an Instagram snap of her cradling Siena Miller, whose head is laying on Hayek’s bust. Both actresses’ eyes are closed while Miller takes a “Siena siesta” at the BAFTAs.
Her full bustline has fueled rumors about breast augmentation, but last year Hayek denied having any procedures, attributing their growth to changes in her body, including menopause.
“I’ll tell you what they don’t tell you. The b**bs grow — a lot,” she said on Jada Pinkett Smith’s “Red Table Talk” last summer of her menopausal surprise.
The actress, who brought her daughters to Paris Fashion Week recently, isn’t shy about sharing her wardrobe mishaps.
Last month, the Mexican-born beauty posted a video from the SAG Awards with another fashion snafu.
In the clip, Hayek, who stunned in pink Gucci, managed to get her sheer pink glove caught on the beadwork of Fran Drescher’s gown while an assistant attempts to remove it.
“My glove got stuck on the great @officialfrandrescher dress, so I got stuck in the bathroom right before I had to present the award to @michaelkeatondouglas who was also stuck in the bathroom,” she posted.
