Scarlett Johansson became the face of the new edition of Entertainment Weekly, she checks out her incredible photo shoot and the details of 'Black Widow'!

One of the most powerful women in the seventh art industry, Scarlett Johansson, captured the gaze of her followers, as well as social networks, due to her latest photo shoot as the famous actress became the face of the new edition from Entertainment Weekly.

In Johansson's stunning photoshoot, the actress can be seen wearing all black, with red lips and striking eyelashes that allude to her acclaimed character 'Black Widow'. Although the publication physically comes out until April, some interviews have already been released on the magazine's official site, while on social networks the images have gone around the entire internet. Here we leave you the incredible photo session of her!

In addition to her great photo shoot, Scarlett Johansson took advantage of her time in the American magazine to open up about her role as "Natasha Romanoff" in the Avengers franchise, as she hinted that she hesitated to agree to make a solo movie about the superheroine. “If we were going to do this, it had to be creatively satisfying. I have been working for a long time, and I have to feel that I am being challenged. I didn't want to do the same thing I've done before," she famously expressed 'Black Widow' for Entertainment Weekly.

Likewise, she revealed that the reason why the film took so long to be made was because the culture was not ready to receive a film where a woman was the protagonist. "A lot of people have said to me, 'Oh, this should have happened five or 10 years ago,' and I think it wouldn't have been that substantial. We couldn't have done it. This movie is happening now as a result of what's going on in the zeitgeist and I think it's okay."

'Black Widow' is scheduled to premiere internationally on May 1.
