The most disturbing photo of Britney Spears
Britney Spears puts fans in a frenzy as she shares a VERY creepy photo of woman cradling a skull-faced baby... and captions it 'Devil is in the details'
Britney Spears' social media has become somewhat of an enigma.
And on Monday the 39-year-old singer continued to baffle fans as she posted a very creepy Victorian photo of a baby with a skull face.
The pop star left made a strange nod to her song Baby One More Time as she captioned the post: 'Devil is in the details….wouldn't want this baby to hit me one more time.'
The strange post accrued over 200K likes but in the comments people expressed concern, others thinking it was some sort of sign.
She continued on what seemed to be some sort of darker streak, posting a video of herself dancing with the caption 'I'm an extremely wicked looking vampire but really that's the whole point!!!!'
Free Britney movement fans have been trying to piece together her social media for months now, with many thinking she has been crying for help amid her ongoing conservatorship battle.
She has been posting photos of red objects over the past few months with the caption 'RED!!' also leaving her followers with many questions.
Spears had hit back at conspiracy theorists who had alleged that she was backlogging content and not in control of her own social media accounts on March 18.
'This was yesterday...nope not kidding wise a**es,' she wrote on one post.
The latest development in her battle for control over her life and finances, she filed a petition on March 26 to completely remove dad Jamie Spears as her conservator.
Spears and her attorney asked that her professional care manager Jodi Montgomery be made the permanent conservator over her, after she was given the role temporarily in 2019 following Jamie's health battles.
As conservator Montgomery would have control over her personal affairs like medical decisions, and be able to retain security guards and caretakers for the singer, but her estate is still controlled by her dad and Bessemer Trust.
Jamie had filed a petition for more control financially, claiming that much of his power with regards to making investments and other things on Britney's behalf had been stripped away.
A judge overruled his proposal after her lawyer Samuel D. Ingham said that giving him any more control would be 'highly detrimental' to Spears, having said in the past that she was 'afraid' of her dad and refused to work unless he was removed completely.
A source told Page Six that the Toxic singer's life 'would drastically change for the better,' under Montgomery's care.
'She's not working because of her dad. She has said that as long as a dad is in control of her life, she's not working. Britney trusts Jodi Montgomery — she's really great. Things would drastically change for the better,' the insider shared.
They also noted that Britney and Jamie have not spoken in over a year.
Many have been hoping she'll do a tell all interview at some point in the future once Jamie is removed, momentum around her well-being picking up steam after the Framing Britney Spears documentary on Hulu.
The next court hearing is set for April 27.
