The truth of the "devil baby" in The Passion of the Christ

Without a doubt, The Passion of the Christ, a film directed by Mel Gibson in 2004, is one of the best productions that has been in charge of representing one of the most relevant aspects of the Christian religion, so great was its impact and approval, that even several members of religious communities praised Gibson's work in faithfully portraying the events that are described in the Bible.

The theories
One of the most terrifying theories about this scene is that the woman is the paternal representation of the devil and the baby is therefore Satan himself, who, walking among the soldiers who whip Jesus until his skin is destroyed, mocks God's abandonment to this, rubbing him that his father does protect him while he abandons Christ in the hands of evil.
Another theory suggests that the woman carrying the creepy baby is the representation of death itself, while the baby is the antichrist laughing at Jesus' defeat and his imminent end.
Some religious experts agree with several of the exposed theories, however, only Mel Gibson will know the true meaning of this disturbing scene, which ironically has stolen the attention of more than one above the massacre of Jesus even more than 10 years after its theatrical release.
