Who is Cara Delevingne, and what are some stunning photos of her?
Cara Delevingne was born on August 12, 1992 in London, United Kingdom. Daughter of a real estate developer and a columnist for British Vogue, she had a happy childhood with her parents and her older sisters, Chloé and Poppy.
At the age of sixteen, she joined the prestigious Bedales School in Hampshire, an establishment recognized for the excellence of its literary and artistic teaching. She discovers a passion for theater and music there but is dropping out of school. Cara then suffers from dyspraxia, a chronic neurological disorder, and gradually sinks into depression.
A year after leaving Bedales School, she started modeling like her sister Poppy. It doesn't take long for her to be spotted by Sarah Doukas, director of the Storm agency. After two years with this agency, she signed in 2011 with DNA Model. So just eighteen years old, Cara became the face of Burberry and paraded for the brand. This is the start of a meteoric rise. Her bushy eyebrows and her androgynous silhouette seduce the greatest designers and fashion magazines. She poses for Jalouse, V magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Numéro, Vogue and parades for Dolce & Gabanna, Chanel, Fendi but also Stella McCartney, Donna Karan and Yves Saint-Laurent. She also participates in advertising campaigns for Asos, Pepe Jeans and Karl Lagerfeld.
In 2012, she entered the very select circle of Victoria's Secret angels and was awarded the prize for model of the year on the occasion of the British Fashion Council. The same year, she tried her hand at the big screen and appeared in the film adaptation of Tolstoy's novel, Anna Karenina.
On the heart side, in 2014, Cara formalizes her relationship with actress Michelle Rodriguez. After a brief romance with the musician St. Vincent, she appears on the arm of Paris Jackson, met in May 2017 at the MTV Movie Awards. In April 2018, she formalized her relationship with actress Ashley Benson, but the couple separated in April 2020.
