The actress plays an abused woman in the HBO drama Big Little Lies and in an interview with W Magazine she declared how hard it was to do this job.
"During the filming of the last chapter, I remember director Jean-Marc Vallée coming up to me between each scene to cover me with a towel, as I was lying on the floor in my u-n-d-e-r-w-e-a-r devastated and totally humiliated," she said.
"At times it felt dangerous and worrying. I kept a brave face at work, but then I would go home and only realize how deep it had penetrated me," he said.
The artist also stated that she had to take painkillers after ending up with bruises after filming.
