The Morbius movie be a total disappointment
Some special sessions of Morbius have already taken place, and the critics are starting to release their first impressions. Unfortunately, they are anything but positive:
Sab Astley says, “Well, Morbius is as bad as you can imagine. A 2005 storyline collides with visually confusing CGI, to create a snooze festival. But don't worry, they saved the worst for last. Featuring some of the worst post-credits scenes you'll ever see, Sony is out of control."
Nicola Austin concludes: “Well, Morbius unfortunately isn't great (it has a shoddy 2000s vfx storyline), and it's definitely not as fun as Venom. And it's really confusing for the future of Sony's Spider-Verse after the post-credits scenes."
For the Escape Film Club, Sony fails at the basics: Morbius proves that no matter how many famous faces or brilliant visuals you put on, Sony will always find a way to misinterpret the basic narrative.”
