In 2014, Miley Cyrus was pictured crying as she exited a hotel and walked towards her car, while paparazzi and fans took pictures and filmed her in her vulnerable state.
Anyone that knows her knows the connection she has to animals, especially to her best friend Floyd, an Alaskan Klee Kai. In April 2014, while she was on tour, she got the devastating news that her beloved dog had died:
It was later revealed that he was unfortunately killed by a coyote, and she took it very hard. Her mother gave her another puppy to try and ease her pain but to no avail.
She spent a night at a hotel with her new puppy and she tweeted how heartbroken she felt and gave an insight into her state of mind, but the next morning as she was leaving the hotel to walk into her car both the paparazzi and the fans were waiting for her outside and as soon as they saw her they started surrounding her as she cried:
A few days later she realized she wasn't yet ready for another puppy as she was still in mourning so she gave it away to a friend. She then honoured Floyd at one of her concerts with a giant inflatable replica of him:
Sadly, this year another one of her dogs died after a battle with cancer.
