If you were wondering how these types of sequences are achieved, Dakota Johnson herself tells the secret that the actors keep in order to make them as private and respectful as possible.
“The truth is that shooting those scenes was the opposite of glamour. Nothing s-xy”, confirms the protagonist. “Jamie Dornan had a little bag that covered his parts, and I had a kind of thong, without straps, attached to mine. Not with glue, but with something sticky like what is used in nipple covers, but for the bottom part”.
Dakota confesses that, really, it is not as comfortable as it looks because, although many women know the discomfort of wearing bras that stick, now imagine how the actress had to remove and glue those protectors from the bottom for each scene.
“It was just sticky on the top, not the whole piece, although it did come off sometimes and the team had to use real glue to keep it from coming off. Once I even had to wear two of those. It doesn't hurt, I mean basically it's like you're not wearing anything but you feel covered. It's a very strange feeling,” Dakota commented. “In the love scenes you spend more time planning in advance how they are going to be shot, so you have to do it feeling totally vulnerable. But when you shoot something this complicated, you need to plan ahead."
The actors have confessed that, in order to achieve the scenes of this film, the first thing was respect, they are professionals and they know how they should treat the other person so as not to overdo it and make the shots of quality so that the public would be satisfied. .
